Senior Care and Support Assistant
As senior you will work closely with the Care Quality Lead and the Registered Manager.
Your role will be to support the staff on duty in maintaining and delivering the highest standards of care to our residents within the care home including assisting with the administration and ordering of medication, supervisions and care planning.
The role requires individuals who are passionate, caring and want to make a difference to the lives of our elderly residents. Being proactive and reactive within your role is key to knowing when and how to act in every situation.
You will be working 35 hours a week at Beddell House, which is a residential care home for older adults on a private country estate based in Sherburn House in County Durham.
Candidates are required to hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care – Level 4 is desirable and will ideally have a supervisory/management qualification.
You must have experience in administration of medication as well as line management of staff and care planning.
Hourly Rate: £14.32 per hour
Full-time – 35 hrs per week
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
