Care and Support Worker – Beddell House – Part time, Full time and Bank

Job types: Full time, Permanent 35 hours

Rate of pay: £13.32 per hour

As a care assistant you will be meeting the individual care and support for residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes their independence.

Good communication skills, a caring and compassionate nature alongside an understanding of the needs of older people will all be important traits for this rewarding job.

Successful applicants are required to undertake an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will

  • Have a strong work ethic and puts the resident needs first.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care and have experience in providing care to older people with varying levels of disability and or dementia.
  • Must be able to work between the hours 07.00 – 22.00 on a 8 hour shift pattern (5 days per week) over a 7 days rolling period. Night shift patterns are 21.45 – 07.30
